Directory and emergency contacts
Resident directory, vehicles and emergency contacts
Who lives in B-402? Who is the secretary? Who do I call when the lift stops? GateBell keeps these answers in one place, with privacy controls for every resident.
What you get
Flat-wise directory
Residents and family members, grouped by flat. Each member can hide their phone number; their name still shows.
Your society can switch it off
The committee can turn the resident directory off for everyone except the committee.
Committee list
The committee members and their roles are always easy to find.
Emergency contacts
Security, fire, ambulance, police, hospital, plumber, electrician, lift service and more, with tap-to-call.
Vehicle register
Residents add their cars and bikes. Guards can search by number, from the first three characters.
Kept up to date by the committee
Admins add and edit emergency numbers and can manage vehicles from the web portal.
How it works
- Step 1
Residents join
The committee invites them, or they ask to join and the committee approves.
- Step 2
Choose what is visible
Each person decides whether their number shows in the directory.
- Step 3
Use it when needed
Tap to call a neighbour, the committee or an emergency number.
Good to know
- Guards can see a resident's name and phone number for the flat they need to call. Guards are not listed in the directory.
- Only active members of the society can see the directory.
Frequently asked questions
Can I hide my phone number?
Yes. Turn off directory visibility in settings and your name stays listed while your number is hidden.
Can we turn the directory off completely?
Yes. The committee can switch the resident directory off. The committee list and emergency contacts remain.
How does vehicle search work?
Guards type at least three characters of a number and see matching vehicles of the society, up to 20 results.
